Ferrovia Circumetnea is a public transport company under the direction of the Ministry of Infrastructures and Transport.

FCE (acronym of Ferrovia Circumetnea) also manages the Catania subway, whose NESIMA-STESICORO line crosses the city with 9 stations active along a route of about 7 km.

From October 15th the METRO of Catania is the first subway in Italy to be completely free for university students of the city athenaeum.

So FCE – Metropolitana di Catania has enthusiastically accepted to sponsor the Gianluca Campochiaro International Competition, because the competition values ​ fully match the company’s mission of service and enhancement of the territory and its freshest resources.

FCE will make available to non-resident participants a free mini-subscription that will allow the use of the Catania Metro for all the days of the event, so that they can easily reach the places involved in the Competition, such as the prestigious Teatro Massimo Bellini, a few minute far from STESICORO station.
